Pier 62/63 will be a primary public space on the waterfront. The Pier's design remains open and flexible to allow for a wide variety of activities and events 
to take place but also includes amenities for active recreation on the waterfront, such as a roller-skating rink, grandstand seating with south-facing views 
of the port and bay, and a kayak launch.
